Vintage Rockdale Pottery Cream & Sugar Set, Pitcher and Sugar Bowl with Lid, Hand-Painted Blue Floral, Heart, Salt Glaze

This adorable stoneware cream and sugar set features a handled pitcher with a hand painted blue floral design and the words ‘A Country Affair’. Stamped with artist’s initials and numbered. Vintage 1988, Measures 5” high x 6” wide. Also a small crock with recessed lid for sugar, with a hand painted cobalt blue heart design, and ‘A Country Affair’, numbered and hand stamped with date 1989. Measures 4” high x 4” wide. Both in excellent condition, no cracks or chips. Rockdale Union Pottery is handcrafted by artisans in Cambridge, Wisconsin, specializing in classic gray salt glazed finishes with cobalt blue designs. All pieces are microwave, oven and dishwasher safe, and get more beautiful with time.
